The front was large enough to install a geothermal system to produce efficient heating and cooling throughout the home.
A geothermal system, also known as a ground source heat pump, uses the earth's natural heat to provide heating and cooling for buildings, by circulating a fluid through a series of pipes buried underground, which absorb or release heat depending on the temperature of the surrounding soil.
